On February 17-18 the 5th Russian Investment and Construction Forum will be held in Moscow. Holder of this forum is the Russian Federation Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities with participation of Moscow Government, Moscow Region Government, the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry, JSC ‘AHML’ (Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending), FAU ‘Glavgosexpertiza of Russia’ (State Expert Review Board), JSC ‘Research Center of Construction’, Union of Builders of Russia (RSS), National Association of Builders, National Association of Surveyors and Designers (NOPRIZ), and other organizations. NACEC experts will take part in various events of the Forum business programme.
The purpose of this Forum is to assist in implementing the national policy of housing, infrastructure, and industrial construction, development and strengthening of business cooperation in the sphere of investments, and to promote international practices in implementing investment and construction projects in Russia. The anniversary Forum will be devoted to pressing issues of innovative growth of the construction industry, and raising its investment attractiveness.
Managers of governmental bodies, state institutions for development, heads of the Russian Federation regions, regional construction sectors, local government authorities, representative of the industry-specific professional community, Russian and foreign investors, representatives of financial and business communities.
A key event of the anniversary Forum will be the extended meeting of the Russian Ministry of Construction with participants from all Russian regions. “The crisis made us focus our efforts, adjust our priorities in solving our strategic tasks on the agenda”, noted Mikhail Men, Minister of the Russian Federation Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the 5th Russian Investment and Construction Forum, in his welcome speech addressed to the participants of the Forum. “It is extremely important to combine state authorities, business companies, and scientific community effort to solve wide-scale tasks on integrated development and growth of regions, improvement of regulatory, legal and technical framework, active implementation of innovative energy-efficient technologies, development of mortgage lending system”.
In this Forum the professional community will conduct a comprehensive analysis of current status of the industry, assess the potential of the industry, identify new prospective opportunities, and the proposed initiatives will find practical application and will be in demand to solve tasks on creating favourable conditions for investment and construction activities.
