Arkady Chernetsky (First Deputy Chairman Federation Council), Elena Sierra (Deputy Minister Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities), Yevgeny Roizman (the Mayor of Yekaterinburg), and representatives of the regional administration took part at the opening ceremony.
Over 60 round tables and conferences are scheduled to be held during this Forum with over 3500 individuals and 600 experts participating.
Elena Sierra, Deputy Minister Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities, noted that this Forum for two years of its existence became a very interesting and popular place to discuss issues of high-rise construction.
One of the core issues to discuss will be the ‘Road Map’ adopted by Ministry of Construction in 2014. However, Ms Sierra said, that it needs to be significantly updated. It is intended that amendments, expert remarks and comments will be discussed at this Forum. They will help to outline the development paths, and legal framework, first of all.
Next year Ministry of Construction intends to issue the first in Russia Body of Rules, which will regulate high-rise construction. Draft revision of this Body of Rules will be discussed at ‘100+ Forum Russia’ with the professional community.
