Design concept ‘Bugrinsky Bridge in Novosibirsk’, developed by a group of engineers of Stroyproekt, CJSC, one of NACEC founders, was recognized as the winner of All-Russian Competition of National Association of Surveyors and Designers (NOPRIZ) in category ‘Best Design Concept of Utility and Transport Infrastructure’. On December 1, 2015 the opening ceremony of the competition winners’ exhibition took place in RF State Duma.
All-Russian Competition of NOPRIZ was held with the support and participation of RF State Duma, Russian Federation Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), National Association of Builders, scientific and professional design, survey, and construction associations, as well as wide public. This year over 250 design organizations from all federal districts of Russia took part in the Competition. Overall number of requests allowed to compete is 174.
The competition is aimed to demonstrate the best achievements in architecture, construction and engineering surveys of Russia. Each design concept is the resulting deliverable of tremendous efforts of multidisciplinary teams. All design concepts have been performed at a high level which made it difficult for the competition committee to decide the winner, as Mikhail Posokhin, NOPRIZ President, explained.
Design concepts were developed throughout Russia, each of them was worked out using innovative technologies and taking into account engineering, geological, and seismic profiles of Russian regions.
Organizers of the competition say that no design concept – competition winners – will be neglected by the subject matter ministry. Respective analysis of the implemented design concepts will be conducted at the stage of facilities operations. Some of the design concepts may be considered in the process of building a database of standard design concepts, and the most interesting design concepts which were not implemented have a chance to be implemented in future.
