National Association of Construction Engineering Consultants (NACEC) extends cooperation with one of the largest Russian engineering companies – Concern Titan-2 JSC.
During the bilateral negotiations it was decided to ensure interface between experts of Titan-2 and NACEC in executing NPP Hanhikivi-1 construction project. Besides, NACEC will provide support on developing mutual relations between Titan-2 and Finnish Association of Consulting Firms (SKOL) within the framework of the existing agreement between the Associations.
«Our objective is to transfer the best practices of certification, appraisal and verification of the Finland corps of engineers to our investment and construction projects abroad. And then propagate accumulated experience on construction of NPP Hanhikivi-1 to other international and Russian projects of Rosatom in general”, said during the meeting Vladimir Malakhov, NACEC Vice-President.
Scope of work on NPP Hanhikivi-1 construction, scheduled for 2016 and subsequent years is increasing steadily. As the Concern press-office reports, currently excavation work is in progress, utility buildings and facilities are being built, roads are under construction, various services are being provided to ensure normal working conditions for employees. Almost 50 Finnish companies have been subcontracted for NPP Hanhikivi-1 construction.
Titan-2 managers in Finland will discuss technical aspects of cooperation with SKOL in the near future.
