About the association
NACEC is the first professional association in Russia that aims to harmonize the existing model of the Russian engineering market with generally recognized international industry standards by transitioning to integrated consulting services and forming a strong Russian expert community that can effectively adapt the best global practices and influence the legislative process in the field of construction engineering at a very early stage.
NACEC was established on December 10, 2014.
NACEC became an associate member of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) in 2015 and received the status of a full-fledged member of FIDIC on October 3, 2017.
In June 2017, the Russian branch of buildingSMART was formed on the basis of NACEC.
In 2022, NACEC became a founding member of the non-profit organization ‘Eurasian Federation of Civil Engineers’ (NPO EFCE)
The NACEC is today the largest national association of consulting engineers in construction.
